Cades Cove in late summer 2012
Photos by SD Professionals using Canon 5D Mark III
SD Professionals photographers took our Canon 5D Mark III and our trusty Canon 7D out to beautiful Cades Cove in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park late summer 2012 for one last chance to shoot beautiful, green vistas, lush rolling valleys and wildlife foraging before the cool winds of fall set in. On this particular trip, we got several awesome shots of various landscapes but the highlight was when an enormous buck came out of the forest into the valley to graze. He literally was just a few feet in front of us. It was truly an amazing day.

If you’ve never gone to Cades Cove, we highly recommend it. Load up the family van, grab the camcorder and be sure to pack a nice picnic. You won’t find a better place to enjoy the awesome beauty of these great mountains.
